Input KIT SAME AS ITEM 0002. Output KIT SAME AS ITEM 0002. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Description: The Pilot Valves are approximately 3 ? inches long and ? inch in diameter. The Kits are composed of four modified pilot valves: Governor, CDP, FDT, and Tach pilot valves. The current valves use epoxy as primary retention for plugs in the end of the spools. The modified valves will have a secondary retention with an internal retaining ring. The epoxy is also changed from a one part adhesive to a two part adhesive for higher temperature capability. Material Specification: Steel. Function: The Pilot Valves are used to hydraulically amplify inputs and forces to position servo pistons, cams, and control speed in the F110-100/129 Main Engine Controls. Delivery: Item 0001: 5 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets. Item 0002: 5 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets. Item 0003: 25 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets. Item 0004: 10 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are not available for this acquisition. These qualification requirements apply to all line items. The approximate solicitation issue date is 12 FEB 2008 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 14 MAR 2008. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
