Description

The United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE, RAF Lakenheath, is planning to award on a sole source basis to Siemens Shared Services Ltd, A&F PO Box 79, Durham, UK DM1 5TZ for a hospital equipment maintenance contract. USAFE is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs for the Siemens Computed Axial Tomography Scanner, Model Sensation 16, SN 51575. The contractor shall provide 4 (four) preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) per year. The PMIs shall be performed during the months of Feb,May, Aug and Nov. PMI service shall be performed to ensure that the equipment performs in accordance with manufacturer's conformance standards. In addition, the contractor shall respond to all intervening service calls between scheduled PMIs and calibration. This contract will fulfill USAFE's responsibility to provide necessary medical care to authorized personnel at RAF Lakenheath, UK.
