- Description
- Work shall consist of a temporary installation, operation, and removal of a pump system capable of discharging 30 to 70 cfs from the Crystal Stilling Basin a distance of 400 feet laterally with a net maximum lift of 10 feet. Pumping will be required intermittently over two 5 day time periods, the first beginning approximately February 23, 2008, and the second beginning approximately March 14, 2008. A crane (depending on weight of pumps) and operator will be available. Crystal Dam is located just above the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park approximately 28 miles east of Montrose Colorado at an elevation of about 6,500 feet.
