- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) Order on a sole source basis to Bell Boeing Joint Project Office (JPO), Amarillo, Texas 79120. The procurement is for various pieces of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) to support the MV/CV-22 Aircraft at the Organizational and Intermediate Level of Maintenance. This is newly identified support equipment which Bell-Boeing, the original equipment manufacturer, is currently developing the required technical data. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data needed to test and produce the required PSE. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1 ?Only One Reasonable Source?, therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. The PSE will be delivered to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey 08733. A determination not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 9 applies to this procurement.
