- Description
- The USDA Forest Service (all Forests/Zones in Region 3) has a requirement to obtain the services of water handling equipment for the Southwestern Region geographic area for tactical and support water tenders for local, Regional, and Nationwide fire suppression, all hazard activities, and severity. Multiple awards resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ) will be in the form of Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements which may be used by multiple state and federal agencies. The Agreement period is for one year from the date of award with annual review and possible renewal and extensions thereafter. The Government is planning pre-quote meetings in various locations in Arizona and New Mexico. Locations, dates, and times will be listed in the solicitation, which will be posted at FedBizOpps on or after May 30, 2007. This will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 115310. The Small Business size standard for Forest Fire Suppression is $16.5 million. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAY-2007).
