- Description
- The Veterans Affairs Special Services Office (VASS) located at Fort Detrick, Maryland, intends to solicit non-personal services on behalf of the Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA/SG3SL) to support the Air Force Medical Expeditionary and Contingency Operations. Specific services include Medical Logistics support and Medical Manpower, Equipment, Force Packaging (MEFPAK) Responsible Agency (MRA) functions. The contractor will be responsible for Expeditionary/Contingency Medical Equipment management in accordance with applicable Air Force and/or DOD directives. The contractor will provide total management services to support the production/build, storage and maintenance, sustainment, and deployment/re-deployment of medical ECME assemblages stored throughout the CONUS and selected OCONUS locations.
