Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-07-RP-0021 for Pacemakers/ICDs that can be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunity web-site www.fedbizopps.gov on or around January 22, 2006. Estimated annual usage (VA only) is as follows: Pacemakers -2890; Cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) - 2319 AWARD GROUP ONE - Bradycardia Therapy Device Single Chamber with rate response feature 1000 Dual Chamber with rate response feature 2800 Active fixation with steroid eluting Brady leads, Passive fixation with steroid eluting Brady leads & High Impedance Leads - 6600 for all leads. AWARD GROUP TWO - Ventricular Trachyarrhythmia Therapy Device Single chamber internal cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) with rate response feature 1625 Dual chamber ICD with rate response feature 2033 Dual-coil integrated bipolar steroid eluting passive or active fixation leads; Dual -coil true bipolar, steroid eluting passive- or active fixation leads - 3,700 for both types. A maximum of one award will be made per award group. The contract period will be for a base year (which will be match with existing national contract) and 1 option year. If the Offeror is not a manufacturer a signed letter of commitment is needed. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-DEC-2006).
