- Amendment 001 to Solicitation FA8601-07-R-0025 has been posted. Amendment 001, dated 30 Jan 08 adds the following sentence to ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, Paragraph 7, "In addition to the required paper copy volumes, the entire proposal, both volumes, will be submitted on a single CD-ROM copy." The Estimated Annual Quantity of CLIN 001 has been changed on Appendix A (CLINS, Base Year), Appendix B (CLINS, Option Year 1), Appendix C (CLINS, Option Year 2), Appendix D (CLINS, Option Year 3) and Appendix E (CLINS, Option Year 4). Only the Estimated Annual Quantities of CLIN 001 have been changed, no other changes were made to the listed appendices. The appendices (A through E) with CLIN 001 changed are posted on Federal Business Opportunities as CLINS_29_Jan_08_Base_Year, CLINS_29_Jan_08_Option_Year_1, CLINS_29_Jan_08_Option_Year_2, CLINS_29_Jan_08_Option_Year_3 and CLINS_29_Jan_08_Option_Year_4. There are no other changes. The receipt date/time of the proposals has not been extended. ********************************************************************************** ********************************************************************************** NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS, 23 Jan 08: DoD 4500.9.R, Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) Part IV, Appendix G, Direct Procurement Method (DPM), attachments, and Traffic Management Advisory (TMA) messages comprise the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Solicitation FA8601-07-R-0025. This PWS, posted 11 Jan 08(as attachment 1 with Solicitation FA8601-07-R-0025), included Attachment G6, entitled DPM Claims and Liability Procedures, which addresses Full Replacement Value(FRV)for DPM shipments, effective 1 March 2008. This attachment (G6) to the PWS document provides the changes effective 1 March 2008 and provides the claims/liability process for Full Replacement Value in DPM contracts. This NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS is published to remind them to carefully read the PWS (posted 11 Jan 08 as Attachment 1), review the Full Replacement Value procedures/responsibilities in Attachment G6 (of the PWS), and to make all deletions/replacements to the DTR Regulation (PWS) as instructed by the TMA messages posted in Summation of Changes at the back of Attachment 1. The DTR Regulation, published by DoD as a PDF document, requires deletions/changes to Page IV-G-19, Part III, Para 3, (mattress cartons), Page IV-G-8, Part I, para 7, A.7.a.(2)(new item)(wood packaging materials), Page IV-G-15, Part I, para 11, (Required Cargo Insurance), Page IV-G-16, Part I, Para 12, C and C (1), (Delete. Re-title DPM Delivery, Unloading, and Unpacking), and page IV-G-16, Part 1, para 13 (Full Replacement Value).
