Description
Subject: Mowing and Trimming Services for Truman Lake, Warsaw, MO. This solicitation contains a base period plus four option periods. The Harry S. Truman Project Office, US Army Corps of Engineers, Warsaw, MO has a requirement for Mowing and Trimming Services. The annual Period of Performance is approximately 01 April through 30 September. In accordance with FAR Part 52.212-2 Evaluation  Commercial Items (Jan 1999), the Contracting Officer will evaluate responsible offers on the basis of best value to the Government. In addition to using pricing as a determining factor, an evaluation of the contractors related past performance and experience will be considered. The Contractor shall furnish all manpower, equipment, tools, supervision and all necessary items required to provide the required services. In accordance with FAR 52.214-22 and 52.212-2, an award will be made to one or more Contractors. The standard industrial code is 0782. The NAICS code is 561730. This will be a Full and Op en Competition Acquisition. The solicitation will contain a base period plus four option periods. The base year period of performance runs from 01 April to 30 September 2008. The period of performance for option period 1 runs from 01 April to 30 Sep tember 2009. The period of performance for option period 2 runs from 01 April to 30 September 2010. The period of performance for option period 3 runs from 01 April to 30 September 2011. The period of performance for option period 4 runs from 01 April to 3 0 September 2012. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online the Representations and Certifications. To do s o requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including crea tion of an MPIN number. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during perf ormance; and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (either 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronica lly via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.gov/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes tha t affect only one soli citation by completing the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 52.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation. New procedures being implemented for U.S. Army Corps of Engine er solicitations will require that all potential offerors to include Prime Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, plan rooms and printing companies register in CCR a nd FedTeDS in order to view or download solicitations. This solicitation, with plans, spe cifications, and any amendments, will be published in electronic format as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) at the FedTeDS website, http://www.fedteds.gov .
