Description

The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, has identified a requirement to solicit offers to drill a water wells in the areas of the Paker Dorm and Dorst Campground located in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. This solicitation is for small businesses only. This project involves the following: Packer Dorm: The project involves drilling test hole(s) to determine the suitability for a potable well to support replenishing an existing potable water tank. If the capacity of the test hole does not meet the water replenishment requirement, a second test hole will be drilled. When a suitable test hole is drilled it will be converted into a fully operational well with chlorine treatment building and pump water to an existing water tank. Dorst Campground: The project involves drilling test hole(s) to determine the suitability for a potable well to support replenishing an existing potable water tank. If the capacity of the first test hole does not meet the water replenishment requirement, a second test hole will be drilled. The National Park Service encourages and welcomes the participation of all small business firms, minority-owned businesses, and women-owned business concerns. The solicitation, N8564080509, will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, approximately 15 days after this announcement. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The Government anticipates an award of a firm fixed price contract with a magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110 with a size standard for Small Business of $31.0 million.
