Description

Solicitation 8008-04 seeks helicopter flight services for one year consisting of a BH212HP, BH214 or BH205++ or equal helicopter, which is fully Contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management, Burns District Office fire management programs. The helicopter will be based at Burns, Oregon, but is subject to dispatch throughout the Lower 48 conterminous United States. The exclusive use period will begin June 12, 2008 and extend 100 days through September 19, 2008. The contract includes government unilateral options of renewal for an additional four years. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is January 31, 2008. It is a requirement that the successful awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will also be available at www.amd.nbc.gov. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
