- Description
- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Land Detachment SMSG will be soliciting requests for proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of various Federal Stock Class (5340) fully competitive Miscellaneous Hardware items (Window and Door hardware, Pads, Mounts and Cushions, and Pipe hardware items). This initiative will fall under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 210 Core NSN?s only. The delivery requirement will be 90 days. This initiative has 510 additional items (Non Core) in the universe which may be added on a post award basis. A listing of the Core items with Annual Estimated Quantities and also Non Core items can be found at http://www.dscp.dla.mil/gi/general/scp_ltc.htm. To obtain a copy of the drawings for the Miscellaneous Hardware Solicitation, access the C file located on the following website: http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Vendors may either click on the Tech Docs icon next to the solicitation number on the DIBBS RFP/IFB screen or they may log directly into c folders and then search for specific solicitations. Once into C file vendors will use the same navigation procedures that are currently used to access Request for Quotation (RFQ) technical data. Subject solicitation will be issued on a Total Small Business Set Aside basis with the resultant contract being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years with three (3) one-year options. In determining contract awards, the Contracting Officer will make a comparative assessment of the offerors performance risk by using the Automated Best Value System and other indicators of an offeror?s past performance. Solicitation SPM5L5-07-R-0070 is expected to be issued approximately 7 February 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Numbered Notes 1 and 9 apply.
