Description
Please send all request and/or correspondence to Mr. Derrick A. Gregory at Derrick.CTR. Gregory@faa.gov. Do not call or send request to Michael Waite. Sir Description: The Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region, hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request for Offers (RFO). Awards resulting from the (RFO) will be based on Best Value to the FAA, giving consideration to: (1) total cost to the FAA, and (2) Offeror's past performance and experience with the same similar work. The successful offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary in the performance of all work associated with replacing the consoles in the San Jose Air Traffic control Tower (ATCT). Note: All Vendors that reply to the announcement must be r3gistered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov in order to do business with the FAA. The Solicitation will only be issued to Vendors that reply to the announcement by the closing date. The Project consists of the specification, together with the reference specifications, standards and drawings specified in the Contract Documents, covers the requirements for all work associated with replacing the consoles in the San Jose Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). The FAA will evaluate offers in response to this solicitation and will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the Solicitation, provides the "Best" value to the FAA. The award criteria will be clearly defined in the solicitation. The Solicitation for this project will not be issued until closing date of this announcement. The National American Industry Classification system code for this project is 236210. Responses to the SIR will be accepted through February 15th, 2008. Solicitation requests must IDENTIFY THE SOLICITATION NUMBER AND MUST BE REQUESTED VIA FACSIMILE OR EMAIL AT FAX: (310) 725-6842 or in writing Derrick.CTR.Gregory@faa.gov . Please direct all requests to the FAA Contracting Rep. Mr. Derrick Gregory. VERBAL OR TELEPHNOCI REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED or ACCEPTED. The Solicitation for this project will be issued on or about February 8th, 2008. The FAA may make an award without communications, or negotiations may be conducted to determine the best value to the FAA.
