- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to procure a commercial item service under (FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items). This requirement is being set aside for Veteran Owned Small Business. The NAICS Codes is 541620 and small business size is 6.5 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has requirement for a Phase II subsurface investigation and health-based risk assessment of a site located on the VA Greater Los Angles Healthcare System (VA GLAHS) property. The Contractor shall be expected to prepare all necessary planning documents, including a comprehensive Work plan, Health and Safety Plan (HASP), Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan, and Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP). The scope of the project shall include obtaining necessary drilling permits from applicable agencies, performing necessary utility clearance, conducting necessary field investigations and laboratory testing in conformance with the planning documents. In addition, the Contractor shall be responsible for conducting a health risk assessment, preparing various technical reports and participating in public meetings. There will be a Pre-Proposal meeting scheduled on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 10:00am. Offerors should attend the Pre-Proposal meeting prior to submitting their proposals in order to be fully aware of the scope of services required. Failure to attend the pre-proposal meeting will not relieve the successful offeror from performing in accordance with the specifications. The Solicitation will be available O/A 01/30/2008 with proposals due O/A 02/28/2008. The VA Network 22 Logistics Office shall issue the solicitation electronically.
