Description

The U. S. Geological Survey intends to make a non competitive award to Fisher scientific Company LLC in Hanover Park, IL for one Thermo Scientific Richard- Allan Microm HM 355S package; P/N 23-900.672 and one Shandon Citadel 2000 Tissue Processor; 110V; P/N 69800006 to be delivered on 03/07/2008 to: U.S. Geological Survey LSC-Fish Health Lab 11649 Leetown Road Kearneysville, WV 25430 Fisher Scientific Company LLC is the only known source for this requirement because The National Fish Health Research Laboratory currently uses a Richard- Allan HM 355S microtome. Richard-Allan is the manufacturer and a subsidiary company of Fisher Scientific. The exact same model and manufacture is required to have block holders that will interchange. The National Fish Health Research Laboratory uses a Shandon 2000 Citadel Tissue Processor. Shandon is a subsidiary company of Fisher Scientific and is the only company that makes a table top unit that will fit in laboratory under the fume hood. The NAICS Code is 339111 The anticipated award date of the contract is 02/07/2008 See Numbered Note 22
