- Questions and Answers about F1TBAM7338A001-A 1. The drawing for the small blast box pin does not state material or quantity. Answer: We don't ask that they quote the pins for the box. We are able to make the pins ourselves. Vendors need to keep in mind that the only parts that need to be quoted for both boxes are the edges and walls only. The edges and walls are just parts of the blastbox, and not the blastbox in its entirety. 2. The small blast box insert box, no method of attachment. Stated as a protruding feature, how far does it protrude? Answer: Again, we do not ask to have these items quoted. All we need are the edges and walls for both the small and large blastboxes. 3. Small blast box, long wall, 16.80" wide slot 2 places, is this correct? Answer: Yes, there are two slots that don?t go all the way through the material. 4.On walls, edges and mating parts, the clearance listed ranges from 1/8-1", is this correct? Answer: The clearances do vary between parts, but we are not aware of any 1" clearances. 5. No finish requirements are listed for machined parts. Answer: As long as there aren?t any finishes so rough that it will injure someone to touch them, we are okay with the finish the material comes with. 6. If there are no callouts for radius or chamfered corners, we would normally assume .030" break on edges. Answer: The back of the wedges for the small blast box calls for a 1/4"X45degree chamfer. We would like for all the back edges of all edges to have this feature. 7. No revision on drawings, only one rev? Answer: You are right - there are no revisions. 8. No insert box listed for Large blast box, is this correct? Answer: There is no insert box for the large box. Again, vendors should only be quoting the edges and walls, not the entire box. 9. Any drawings of assembled boxes available? Answer: No assembly drawings available, but we do have bitmaps showing how all of it goes together. You may request the bitmaps by contacting Ms. Mary Gardner mary.gardner@eglin.af.mil. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
