- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a 10 month extension to the existing contract NNG05HN08Z for the support to the Geospatial Interoperability Office with Mobilaps, LLC. Under this support service contract, Mobilaps, will provide strategic analysis and support in the development and implementation of specifications that provide Geospatial Interoperability open standards based solutions. The combination of extensive experience and educational background supports Mobilaps unique qualifications required to support the GIO program requirements. The current contract?s performance period ends on March 28, 2008. The proposed extension will continue support through January 30, 2009. The statutory authority for this action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing via fax number 301-614-5619, attention Jennifer O?Connell or email to Jennifer.A.Oconnell@nasa.gov no later then February 15, 2008, at 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
