- This is a sources sought announcement. Reference SSA-RFI-08-1004 when responding to this announcement. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to identify small business concerns that can provide the following items: 1) Logic First (or equal) rigid-2 badge holder; 2) Navy blue lanyard with break away and slider; 3) white non-twist badge reels; 4) Exponent CN-1 Shielded badge holder (or equal); and 5) vinyl strap badge clips 23/4 inches. All items must be compliant with Homeland Security HSPD-12. Responses must contain sufficient documentation to establish a potential capability to fulfill the requirement, as far as has been specified in this announcement. Closing Date for this submission is 8 calendar days from the date of this notice. No FAXED responses will be accepted. This is an information gathering effort only and if further procurement action is taken, additional publication(s) will be done as required. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of ANY evaluation made from the information submitted. NO award will be made from the basis of this announcement. The information will be used in SSA assessment of capable sources. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. The Government will NOT pay for information provided in response to this announcement. Interested parties should contact the POC identified above.
