Description

The Regional Contracting Officer Seckenheim intends to solicit competitive proposals on an unrestricted basis for various entertainment tours in Qatar and Afghanistan. Tours will be Meet and Greet and/or performance. Categories include MBL, NBA/WNB A, Film/TV actors, Volleyball, Country Music, X-Game, and NFL Cheerleaders. Award type will be firm fixed price. Solicitation may result in multiple awards. Anticipated contract award date is 11 March 2008, with the first tour beginning in April 2008. This commercial acquisition is being conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 15. All personnel proposed to work under this contract must possess a US or NATO country passport. No security clearances are required. Request for Proposal W912PE-08-R-0005 will be issued o n or about 6 February 2008 and proposals will be due on or about 5 March 2008. Interested parties are strongly urged to register with FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov to receive the solicitation and to monitor the site frequently for amendments or other informati on. The solicitation may be accessed and downloaded at FedBizOpps or the ASFI website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi . No paper, email or fax copies will be provided. Responsibility for obtaining the solicitation and any amendments rests solely with potential offerors. The solicitation will include all necessary information and instructions. Requests for information received prior to solicitation issue will not be addressed. Any questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted to the Contractin g Officer no later than 20 February 2008, 1600 local time. Questions received after this date and time may or may not be addressed at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. All proposals from responsible offerors will be considered. To be eligible for award, offerors must have a current, valid registration in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
