- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide services to galvanize 1,819 sets of MHU-187 A/E steel pallets for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), McAlester, OK. These pallet sets consist of a top and a bot tom frame weighing approximately 200 pounds each. Hot dip galvanizing must meet ASTM-A123/A123M standards. MCAAP will deliver and pick up pallets; therefore, galvanizing shall be performed within a 200 mile driving distance from McAlester, OK. ASC inten ds to issue a request for Quote, W52P1J-08-Q-3012 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about 11 FEB 2008 with opening 20 days from issuance. This procurement is not restricted to sm all business. This contract will be covered under NAICS 332812. Small Business for this NAICS is 500 employees or less. . The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Def ense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendm ents applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
