Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for manufacture of the T-611/ASN-43 and CN-405/ASN-43. Government technical data packages for the T-611 and CN-405 are available upon request. However, these drawings can not be independently val idated for production as these two items have not been bought for more than 20 years. The U.S. Army is planning a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type of contract plus two one-year options to procure the commercial version of the CN-405 and T-611 on a sole source basis from Ultra Electronics/Flightline Systems. The anticipated maximum quantity for this acquisition would be 1000 for the CN-405 and 750 for the T-611. The minimum guaranteed quantity at the time of contract award is 70 units of the CN-405. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA C-E LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of pur chase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the existing units. Succe ssful supplier may be required to warrant that this item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
