- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 13 February 2008. Provide all manpower, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, fuel, tools, supervision and o ther items and services necessary to perform Mowing & Trimming services for designated areas at the Saylorville Lake Project, Polk County, Johnston, Iowa. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as Unrestricted to both Large and Small Bu siness pursuant to the designated industry group in accordance with FAR 19.1005. The following NAICS code 561730 will apply with the size standard of $6.5 Million. This work will be awarded as a performance-based contract. Performance-based means the Con tractor is responsible for a quality end product. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Experience, Past Performance, and Price. Contracts will be awarded to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible, compliant vendor. Experienc e and Past Performance are significantly more important than price. The date and time for receipt of quotes will be on or about 13 March 2008, 4:00 p.m. local time. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbizopps web site for amendments to t he solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
