- Description
- The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order for the subject services to Southwest Statistical Counsulting of Cortez, CO for the subject services. Noncompetitive award is being made because this is the only known source with required immediate direct knowledge of specific methodology and project work plans for the Alaska Oil and Gas Assessment and the Circum-Arctic Resource Appraisal. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Services will be provided in Cortez, CO with possible required travel to Menlo Park, CA; Reston, VA and Lakewood, CO. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in the announcement.
