- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00189-08-Q-P623. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-023 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333512 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This is a competitive, unrestricted action. The FISC Norfolk Det Portsmouth at Kittery, ME requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: 0001 ? 1 EA, SUPFINA RG-4 BELT GRINDER. UPDATED KELSEY TYPE CONTROL BOX, CAST BASE TO ADAPT TO CARRIAGE, IDLER PNEUMATICALLY TENSIONED WITH ADJUSTABLE PIVOT, BELT DRIVEN SPINDLE WITH PRECISION SEALED BALL BEARINGS, 10HP, 3PH-60HZ (230-460V), BELT SPEED 4500 SFM, LOAD METER MOUNTED ON OPERATORS PANEL FOR BELT MOTOR, ADJUSTABLE SWING TO GRIND WITH CONTACT WHEEL OR SLACK OF BELT, IDLER WHEEL IS RUBBER COATED WITH SEALED BALL BEARINGS, 4 INCH WIDE CONTACT WHEEL ? 70 DUROMETER, SCREW TYPE-POSITRAC BELT TRACKING SYSTEM, BELT SIZE 4 INCHES X 132 INCHES. Delivery: 16 weeks from ARO or best possible. Items will be shipped to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Bldg 170, Code 501.2, Receiving Officer, Kittery, ME 03904. Responsibility and Inspection: The supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 and its ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items to include: 52.219-28, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-50, and 52.232-33. Quoters shall include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisit ions of Commercial Items including: 252.225-7001 and 252.232-7003.
