- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) intend to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-08-R-0008 for Technical and Engineering Support of Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4I) and Tactical Communications and Information Assurance and Interoperability (IA&I) support for Secure Voice (SV) and Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) programs/systems and various ashore, surface and sub-surface communication/information systems. The proposed contract will encompass overall analytical and technical support services to include engineering, technical analysis, design, integration, implementation and life cycle management in support of C4I SV and DRSN programs/systems and IA&I in support of these programs/systems. This proposed contract has security requirements at the Top Secret with SCI access. This contract will be for Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Engineering Services with five year base period with the potential of eight (8) six (6) month award term periods (for potential maximum contract period of nine (9) years). The estimated level of effort is 1,033,200 hours for the entire performance period. The Government plans a single award pursuant to the criteria in the RFP. Large businesses are encouraged to form joint ventures with small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 ??? Engineering, and the Small Business Size Standard $25M. The estimated released date for the solicitation is anticipated by 21 March 2008 and response will be due 30 days thereafter. The solicitation will only be available electronically. Electronic copies of the RFP may be obtained from the SPAWAR E-Commerce website at https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under SSC San Diego "Open Solicitations". Hard copy versions of the RFP and any subsequent amendments will not be available. Firms are encouraged to review the website regularly for important solicitation information.
