- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20071226. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412, size standard $6.5M. The contractor shall provide the following 3 line items no later than 18 Feb 2008: CLIN0001) 2 month lease Track mounted 26 ton Excavator w/ 3ft bucket CLIN0002) 6 month lease Track mounted 20 ton Excavator w/ 2ft bucket CLIN0003) 6 month lease Hydraulic breaker hammer attchmt. Brand names are used to define requirement only, requesting quotes for brand name or equal. Please provide detailed specifications for any ?or equal? items. This is a best-value award.
