Description

The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Burtek, Inc., 50405 Patricia, Chesterfield, MI 48051 for the purchase of 60 sets of door armor. There are no NSNs for these items. The part numbers for each set are 1ea, LH Front Door Half 1 8085526; 1 ea, 18085527 RH Front Door Half; 1 ea, LH Rear Door Half 18085528 and 1 ea, RH Rear Door Half 18085529. The Government does not possess drawings or the technical data for these items they are owned by Burtek, Inc.. Interested parties may identif y their interest and capability to respond to this notice prior to February 19, 2008. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 10 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determi ning whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
