- The purpose of this presolicitation annoucement is to advise that the government is issuing a Solicitation today for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract in Callaway County, Missouri. This construction project is for PL 84-99 levee repairs on th e Reveaux Levee. Work shall consist of clearing and grubbing, hauling earthen material, surface preparation, and placement of earthen material to restore the damaged levee embankment. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000.00. The NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. Packets will be made available either through the FedTEDS website at www.fedteds.gov or at the site visit which is schedule for February 19, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Participants will meet at the community of Wai nwright where County Road 4029 crosses the Katy Trial. This is approximately one-tenth mile north of junction of Highway 94 and County Road 4029. this will be the only organized site visit for this project. Quotes for this project are due on February 27 at 4:30 PM at the Contracting Office specified in the Request for Quotes. There will be no public opening of quotes. Please note that to be eligible for award of this project, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the CCR website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at the ORCA website which is orca.bpn.gov. Please note that if you a rehand delivering your solicitation pakcage, you must enter through security. Any untimeliness due to problems getting past security is at the risk of the vendor. The government is tenatively planning on maintaining a quoters list which will be posted to the FedTeds website. This information will be made available to vendors shortlylty upon the completion of the site visit.
