Description
Point of Contact: Kate Steff, Purchasing Agent, Phone 206-764-6563, Fax 206-764-6817 ore email kate.r.steff@usace.army.mil The Fleet Industrial Supply Command Puget Sound Manchester Fuel Department (MFD) distributes fuel oil for use in naval vesse ls/shore stations, Coast Guard tankers, and National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration units. The MFD includes a small boat/barge mooring pier at their facilities on Orchard Point in southern Kitsap County, Washington. Attached to the pier is a concrete float and access gangway. Two of the timber piles and timber cross bridging securing a float are damaged (see the attached photos). The piles appear to have broken off at or above the mud line.
