Description

Defense Supply Center Richmond, Land and Maritime Supply Chain Detachment, intends to establish a Corporate Contract for sole source, part-numbered items supplied by Sargent Controls (Cage 97613) against Solicitation SPM4M1-08-R-0249. The acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted using Other than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Currently the acquisition only encompasses 26 NSNs managed by DSCR that are within the Federal Stock Class FSC 3120. There is potential at a later date to add NSNs managed by DSCR, DSCC and/or DSCP. It is anticipated that one award will be made against this solicitation. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a one-year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to four (4) one-year periods. The Solicitation Number is SPM4M1-08-R-0249; IQC07360009013; RM07360001. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in this solicitation. Surge requirements apply to sixteen (16) NSNs. A surge plan detailing how the surge quantity requirements will be met must be submitted along with offer. The solicitation will be posted to DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on or about April 18, 2008.
