Description

Project Title & Location: Redwood City Channel Maintenance Dredging, Maintenance Dredging: Work consists of maintenance dredging from the Port of Redwood City Channel, transportation and placement of the dredged sediment at Inner Bair Island and man agement and discharge of process water on to Middle Bair Island. All dredging, material transportation and material placement to include management of return flow discharges shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulator y guidance and applicable contract clauses. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $31 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,00 0,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 70%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 6.2%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.0%, HUBZone Small Business: 9.8%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 0.9%, Veter an-Owned Small Business 3.0%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for download approximately 22 February 2008.
