Description

The work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for the landslide stabilization of a Typhoon Tingting-caused landslide located at Decipulo Estates, Santa Rita, Guam, 96915. The landslide stabilization involves rock filled gabion basket walls, steel reinforcing of the slope, horizontal reinforcing of the backfill with geogrid and replacement of low strength clay soils with crushed coral. The major items of work are: Excavation; Crushed Coral Backfill, Dowels and Gabions. Performance time is sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Estimated price range is from $100,000 to $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package will be posted electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about February 8, 2008.
