- Project No. 621-08-105 MRI Site Prep B-77: NAICS code 541310 with a small business size standard of $4.0 MIL applies. This requirement is set-a-side 100% for SDVOSB firms. The VA intends to award an A/E contract for design services at the Mt. Home VAMC, TN. The A/E shall provide all Architectural and Engineering services necessary to design a project, for converting the existing 1200 Sq ft. MRI Site, to an area that will accommodate the new MRI equipment and change out in Bldg. 77 at the VA Medical Center Mountain Home (Johnson City) Tennessee. Work includes but is not limited to preliminary and final contract drawings, cost estimates, specifications, and construction period services. Preliminary drawings, Working Drawings, cost estimates, specifications, and calculations are to be completed within 90 calendar days after award of contract. Project is to be developed within an estimated base construction of between $250,000.00 and $500,000. A/E may be required to develop Bid Alternates as necessary to assure award of contract within available funds. A/E firm will also be required to ensure that the completed designs are in full compliance with all applicable codes and VA design guidelines. A/E firms that meet the SDVOSB criteria and that possess experience in this type of design renovation may submit SF 330 in triplicate (3 copies) to Vicky Caudill, Contracting Officer (90C), VAMC, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206-1499. Submissions must identify the solicitation number VA 249-08-RP-0030 and must be received no later than March 25, 2008 @ 3:30 PM local time. This is NOT a request for proposals. NO material will be issued and NO solicitation package or bidder/plan holder list will be issued. Award of a contract is subject to availability of funding.
