Description
The US Army, CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (C-E-LCMC) at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey intends to award a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with one option year under the authority of FAR P art 13.5 and FAR 15. CECOM LCMC intends to procure at minimum a quantity of one hundred (100) Engine Starters, John Deere P/N RE527367, NSN 2920-01-359-4770, NAICS code 336322. No other substitutions or equivalents will be considered. In accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the Government has limited competition to only John Deere Distributors. Effort is to be performed in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) entitled, Starter Engine, U/W 30 & 60 KW Tactica l Quiet Generator (TQG), dated 14 November 2007. The estimated maximum dollar value over the life of this effort is $2,800,000.00 and once that ceiling is reached, the contract will be considered expired. At minimum, the Government intends to procure on e hundred (100) Engine Starters. Delivery requirement is FOB Destination. Federal Supply Class (FSC) code is 2920. The unit of issue is each. Delivery for the first 100 units shall be no later than ninety (90) days after receipt of order and a rate of two hundred (200) per month thereafter until completion of the order. Accelerated delivery is authorized at no additional cost to the Government. The Request for Proposal (RFP) for this effort will be posted on the IBOP on or about 15 Febru ary 2008.
