- NAICS Code: 541513 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Air Programs, Clean Air Markets Division, intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Nikora Technologoies of Great Falls, VA . This acquisition will provide technical services to provide system administration on two CAMD servers running Solaris 10 operating system, Oracle 10g database management system and Veritas Net Backup. Nikora Technologies is the only known source able to provide an engineer with specialized expertise in configuring the Solaris operating system, applications and maintaining Sun and Sun-compatible hardware, with the appropriate background investigation for access to the server room in EPA-EAST and knowledge of EPA networking systems. The Nikora Technologies is the known only source capable of providing these products and services. No solicitation or Request For Quote (RFQ) is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the EPA requirements described herein may submit a response; which, if received within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
