- Description
- A Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on an unrestricted basis with Other than Full and Open Competition. Purchase Request Number 0017394467 authorizes this procurement. Solicitation will be FOB and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. Contract type is a Firm-Fixed price type contract. The requested quantity is 83 each. The required delivery is 38 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO). This item is currently sole source to HR Textron Inc, the OEM. Configuration Control applies. DSCR does not currently have an approved Technical Data Package (TDP) available for this NSN. Any firm requesting a copy of this RFP will be provided a copy. Alternate offers may be considered if submitted with a complete TDP. A formal solicitation will be issued if any vendor expresses an interest in this procurement. This is not considered a commercial item. Progress payment may not be authorized for this procurement. ABVS will be included in the solicitation and will be used as an evaluation factor. The ABVS provisions are self-deleting if only one offer is received or ABVS is otherwise not applicable to the evaluation process. Cost and Pricing Data and Small Business Subcontracting Plan are not required as the requested quantity dollar value does not exceed the threshold. The requirement is not being solicited as an LTC because the NSN is a candidate for a corporate contract that has an anticipated award date of Summer 2008. Once the corporate contract is awarded, this item will be added. The current buy is intended to cover backorders and any other requirements that may occur before the item is added to the corporate contract. End item is: OH-58, A/C/D Helicopters.
