Description: The Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) Office, Kirtland AFB, NM is interested in receiving innovative solutions from all offerors for the design of a low earth orbiting multi-mission satellite that has a common core electro-optical (EO) payload. The conceptual satellite system is envisioned to employ hardware and software based on non-proprietary industry standards, i.e., I-SET or PnP and others. To the greatest extent possible, a common core of optical payload and bus elements will be used and other elements can be rapidly replaced or modified to optimize the satellite systems to meet one of the following four missions:
