- Sources sought for certified 8(a) firms interested in submitting a proposal for an upcoming Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to be performed at Andrews AFB, Brandywine Receiver Site, and Davidsonville Transmitter Site, Maryland and Bolling AFB, DC (list may not be all inclusive). The contract will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks as identified and based on prices from the latest R.S. Means Master Cost Data. This will be an 8(a) competitive solicitation utilizing NAICS Code 236220 and is anticipated to be open to firms located in all SBA regions nationwide. Based on the outcome of this sources sought notice, it may be determined to be in the government?s best interest to restrict competition to a particular geographical region; the final determination will be made by the contracting officer.
