- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, FL is soliciting competitive offers from authorized OEM Detroit Diesel distributors for the purchase of engine control unit electronic modules for the MK V Special Operation Craft (SOC). Only genuine Detroit Diesel and MTU Friedrichshafen parts and equipment are acceptable. The items being procured are commercial parts for systems used for the MK V Special Operation Craft (SOC) and MTU Boat Engines. Procurement of OEM parts is required to maintain the warranty status and integrity of the supported systems. These systems are commercial items originally produced by and under warranty by the manufacturer. As a result of the solicitation, awarded will be made to the vendor that proposes the lowest total cost for all items. A contract will be for a five year period beginning with the award date. Individual Delivery orders will be issued for requirements. Delivery date, shipping location(s) and funding will be established at the time the delivery order is placed. Delivery of items will be made to San Diego, CA and to Norfolk, VA. NAICS Code 333618 applies. SBA Size Standard is 1000 employees. FSC is 2815. POC is Sharon Hess, 850-234-4413, Sharon.hess@navy.mil
