- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. USSOCOM is revising acquisition documentation in support of its Light-Tactical All-Terrain-Vehicle (LTATV) program. USSOCOM intends to procure additional vehicles in FY08 in support of an increased authorization for total fielded quantity. The procurement strategy will be to modify a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution with Special Operations Forces (SOF) peculiar modifications, including, but not limited to, special lighting, stowage and mounting provisions for SOF gear. A Draft acquisition document will follow this announcement which is being provided for industry comment. USSOCOM will accept responses from industry which directly comment on the content of the draft acquisition document. The intent of this synopsis is two-fold.
