Description: ***Sole Source determination is based on NOAA?s requirements which can only be met by CALTECH?s proprietary specifications of Utlra Low NEP Far-Infared Detector Arrays. The work that is being undertaken is a direct extension of a proprietary antenna concept and array geometry developed by CALTECH for an internally funded program. CALTECH is collaborating with NIST to transition this design so that it can be used in a NIST development project.
