Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites proposals for Fish Tank Wall Extension at the Richard Cronin National Salmon Station located in Sunderland, MA. The work consists of installing barriers to the perimeters of four existing fish tanks. The fish tanks are 3 feet 9.5 inches deep and 24 feet accross. The new barriers will be attached to the 8 inch thick concrete walls that form the tanks. The barriers will prevent waterborne pathogens from moving from one fish tank to another. It is envisioned the barrier will resemble the plexiglass barriers along the perimeter of an ice hockey rink. The barriers will extend no less than 8 inches below the top of concrete walls, and extend 8 feet above the top of concrete walls with access doors to fish tank entrances. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000. and $50,000. This project is set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238150. The small business size standard is $13 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Issue date will be o/a February 26, 2008.
