Description
The purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to seek competent and qualified contractors for Steel Fabrication of Self Supporting MEDIUM INTENSITY APPROACH LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH RUNWAY ALIGNMENT INDICATOR LIGHTS (MALSR) Towers for RW 34L SeaTac International Airport, WA DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Provide self supporting steel towers with work platforms and steel stairways for accessing work platforms (using serrated metal grating) and OSHA approved handrails, and toe guards. Five (5) towers approx. 35 feet high, one (1) tower approx. 5 feet high and one (1) tower approx. 10 feet high. All metal is to be hot dipped galvanized with a 50 year design life. Towers must be ready to ship to Burien, WA within 60 days of shop drawing approval. This acquisition is not set-aside (full and open competition).
