- This solicitation will result in the competitive award of one long term firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contract for design build and construction services at the Rock Island Arsenal. The required design buil d and construction services may include, but are not limited to, the following types of work: building renovations, building maintenance/repairs; building demolition; structural repairs; sitework; utility replacements; pavement replacement; lead paint and asbestos removal/abatement; geotechnical. The total estimated maximum dollar value of the contract is $49,500,000 over the possible 5 year ordering period. The solicitation will be available on or about February 29, 2008. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The solicitation and specification will also be available for download by accessing the following address via the World Wide Web: https://aais.ria.army.mil/ aais/IM/solicitation_index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendme nts that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
