- This is a market survey to locate sources who can supply the following NSN: 5998-01-442-2938 that is used in the VRC-100. The item must have the same operating specifications and physical characteristics as the present item that is now use within the VRC-100. The current source for these items is Rockwell Collins. The government does not have any drawings/specifications for these items. Suppliers capable of furnishing these exact items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM; ATTN: AMSEL-L C-CCS-A-MM (Fenton Yip); Building 1200E; Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating th at the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
