- NASA/Ames Research Center, Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO) has a requirement to develop and implement diversity services focusing on education and training, diversity skills and technique building, career enhancement, and organizational culture change. These services directly support the mission of the ODEO to advise management to ensure identification of systemic bias or barriers that may hinder the diversification of the Ames workforce and to provide professional developmental diversity services to enable employees to attain personal and organizational goals. The contractor must possess a unique diversity skill and technique building paradigm, expertise in diversity concepts, and intrinsic ability to train employees and develop management in the area of diversity, and enhance the awareness fo diversity as a management practice and leadership philosophy. The vendor must have prior experience with conducting diversity training with other federal agencies. The FY08 program model includes the development of the following major areas: Cross cultural communication ?Listening and responsive techniques and skills ?Cross cultural conflict resolution?Recognizing diversity driven misunderstandings ?Collaboration and collective thinking?Observation and inquiry. The period of performance is through September 30, 2008 and includes ten (10) separate sessions held for three (3 hours). There will be 30-35 participants in the 10 sessions diversity leadership course. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 3:00PM PDT, March 03, 2008, and must include solicitation number, by any of the following: mailed to NASA Ames Research Center, Attn: Ms. Rachel Jandron, Mail-Stop 241-1, Building 241, Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000; or faxed to (650) 604-0912; or e-mailed to Rachel.A.Jandron@nasa.gov and must include: solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (DEC 2007) Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (DEC 2007), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. Selection and award will be made to that offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, with consideration given to the factors of proposed technical merit, past performance, and price. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer. (SEE FAR 52.212-1(b)). Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. Offerors must currently be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
