Description
The James H. Quillen VAMC has a requirement to procure a motorized mobile medical clinic approximately 35' - 40' in length with least 2 two examination rooms, a waiting space, and a lavatory. This notices is issued to identify sources interested in leasing a mobile medical clinic for a period of (6 - 9) six to nine months with (1) one additional (3) three month option period. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation documents currently exist for this potential requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice as a potential source will need to submit technical data including unit (typically, the mobile medical clinic would be a vehicle, either a bus, RV, truck cab/chassis, or a trailer) manufacturer; original manufactured date; unit exterior length and height measurements; general vehicle specifications interior and exterior; electrical amp service size; water pump capacity; diesel or fuel engine; and commercial market leasing terms, sufficient to determine capability to provide the requested product meeting the below minimum requirements. The mobile medical clinic minimum requirements: 1. Two medical examination rooms with exam tables, lights, cabinets, sink; and or nurses/triage station 2. One working lavatory with fixtures and sink; 3. The space shall provide environmental protection to include heating, cooling, lighting, and weather protected environment; 4. Ability to secure all equipment, light, etc whether for transport conditions or on-site usage; 5. Water or air lines must not leak; 6. Electrical fixtures meet (or exceed) NEC requirements; 7. Generator to run all systems independent of outside power, if required; 8. Complete water, air, and suction plumbing systems; 9. Sufficient lighting for examination procedures; 10. Typically, the mobile medical clinic would be a vehicle, either a bus, RV, truck cab/chassis, or a trailer, but any transportable solutions proposed will be considered. All capability statements should include a description of the unit or optional units meeting the minimum requirements above, age of the unit(s), and preventive maintenance history for the unit. (Pictures (inside and outside views) of proposed unit(s) are mandatory). Additionally, sufficient technical documentation (including, but not limited to: product literature, specifications, features, pertinent maintenance or operator manuals, and warranty information should be included in capability statement. A routine maintenance plan and / or an emergency maintenance plan for the unit may be included in the vendor's capability statement, along with the vendor's capability to deliver the mobile medical clinic to the Mountain Home, Tennessee area. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
