Description

The USACE, TAC, Winchester intends to award a new firm-fixed price supply contract to Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, Inc. for procurement of the Advanced Technology Loading Articulated Shiplifts (ATLAS) ? DockMaster? Control System for the Ras El Tin Sync rolift?, Alexanderia, Egypt. The ATLAS ? DockMaster control system is being procured as an upgrade process. AUTHORITY CITED: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1, only one responsible source. REASON FOR AUTHORITY CITED : The Syncrolift? system at Ras El Tin Naval Base was costumed designed to customer specifications and installed in 1992 by Syncrolift, a Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, Inc. (RRNMI). The ATLAS DockMaster? control system is a patented system that only RRNMI ca n supply and install. All interested sources will be considered.
