Description

It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source purchase order using the acquisition procedures for commercial item (FAR Part 12). This is for preventative maintenance/monitoring/repair Intrusion Alarm System for Internal Revenue Service, Ogden Service Center, Ogden, UT. This is not a request for quotations. This requirement is considered sole source since ADT has proprietary rights to the security system software and is currently providing maintenance of the system. A determination by the Government to not compete this purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All contractor employees must have security clearances. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. There is no solicitation available for this requirement. This requirement will be awarded through the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The award date will be made 4/01/08.
