- Description
- The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-08-398QEB052 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339999. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-03-15 13:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT 06320 The U.S. Coast Guard Academy requires a portable stage system with the following characteristics: Size: 48 feet wide by 32 feet deep by 4 feet high. Strength: Assembled platform must be rated for live loads in excess of 125 pound per square foot. Framing: Aluminum understructure. Support legs must be infinitely adjustable (for example: utilize threaded feet) over a range of at least four (4) inches. Decking: Mechanically connected aluminum framed panels covered with short pile indoor/outdoor rated carpet surface. Decking sections must break down into panels no larger than 4 feet by 8 feet in size. Carpet color shall be either black or dark gray in color. Railings: Minimum 112 linear feet of code compliant aluminum railing attachable to perimeter edges of assembled platform. Color shall be black. Skirting: Minimum 160 linear feet of 4 foot high reusable opaque cloth skirting. Skirting shall be easily attachable and detachable on all four edges of each individual decking panel. Color shall be black. Stairs: Four (4) sets of stairs with code compliant handrails. Color shall be black. Stairs must be infinitely adjustable over a range of at least four (4) inches to meet adjustable stage height. Stairs to be either grated or covered with non-skid surface. Ramp: One (1)access ramp twenty foot long (20?) by three foot (3?) wide with non-skid surface and handrails. Color shall be black. Storage: Provide sturdy reusable rolling carts and/or forklift accessible racks for all parts and equipment. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34.
